The Prairie Heraldry Society exists to serve the heraldists of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as to foster the development of correct and legitimate heraldry in the prairie provinces. We currently have groups in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Saskatoon; monthly or bimonthly meetings take place in each city. These get-togethers allow our members to discuss the latest developments in the field (grants and innovations), to show off heraldic books and knick-knacks, to learn from and to advise each other, and to enjoy an evening with people who share a common interest. We are not officially a branch of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada, but we are working on it.
