This is a map (scanned out of a 1973 reprint of Meacham's 1880 atlas (An Illustrated Historical Atlas of the Province of Prince Edward Island, J. H. Meacham & Co.)) showing the farms in the Garfield/Belfast area of lot 58 in Prince Edward Island, including North Pinette and Surrey Valley. The green area is the farm of Mrs. Catherine McEachern, widow of Hugh McEachern. The lighter green area is (I think) the farm of Francis Panting, father of Mary Jane Panton (ing, on, what's the difference?), who married Hugh McEachern's son Charles.
