This is the Walker twig of the George branch of my family tree, as far as we've learned.

The earliest George we know we are related to is William George, who married Ann Walker (born in 1807 in Tettenhall, Staff.) in Tipton, Staff. on Sept 12, 1836.

We think that Ann's parents were James and Sarah Walker (both born in 1777, in Wolverhampton), whose children were:
James
Rebecca (Oct 1805 - Nov 1810)
Ann (Feb 1807 - 1856)
Frances (b May 1809)
Mary (b May 1814)
Martha (b Feb 1816)
Rosannah (b May 1818)
Thomas (b Nov 1820)
and Francis (b Aug 1823).

The reason we think this is the correct Walker family (in addition to Ann having the correct age and birthplace) is the presence of James and Martha Walker as witnesses to William and Ann's marriage (the only other Ann Walker with the correct birthdate did not have siblings with these names). The IGI lists a marriage between James Walker and Sarah Gascoign in Wombourn in 1803, which we believe is our couple. Wolverhampton church records list births for both James Walker and Sarah Gascoign in 1777.
